Princess Claire of Belgium was born Claire Coombs on 18th January 1974. Her parents are John Coombs and Nicole Mertens. Claire's father is from England and she was born in Somerset, England but moved to Brussels in 1977.
Claire married Prince Laurent on 12th April 2003. Together they have three children,
1). Princess Louise of Belgium (Born: 6th February 2004)
2). Prince Nicolas of Belgium (Born: 13th December 2005) - Aymeric's twin
3). Prince Aymeric of Belgium (Born 13th December 2005) - Aymeric's twin
Princess Claire has no official role but takes part in all national events and accompanies her husband on his duties.
