Prince Emmanuel of Belgium is the third child and youngest son of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians. He was born on 4th October 2005 whilst his parents were still the Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde, Duke & Duchess of Brabant (the heir apparents). Emmanuel's full name is Emmanuel Leopold Guillaume Francois Marie.
His godparents are his mother's sister Countess Elisabeth and Guillaume, Hereditary Duke of Luxembourg. When he was born Emmanuel was 4th in line to the throne but since the abdication of his grandfather King Albert II in 2013 he is now 3rd in line.
Emmanuel lives with his parents, two older siblings Princess Elisabeth Duchess of Brabant and Prince Gabriel as well his younger sister Princess Eleonore. They live at the Royal Palace of Laeken just outside Brussels. In 2012 Prince Emmanuel moved from the school his siblings were attending to 'Eureka' a school for students with learning disabilities.
Prince Emmanuel is still young so doesn't undertake any royal business. In 2014 he and his family attended the wedding of his cousin Prince Amedeo, Archduke of Austria-Este to Elisabetta Rosboch Von Wolkenstein.
