Princess Salma is the third child and youngest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan. Princess Salma was born on 26th September 2000, just a year into her father's reign as King. Princess Salma has two older siblings, Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Iman and a younger brother, Prince Hashem. Jordanian law does not allow women to ascend the throne, so Princess Salma like her older sister is not in the line of succession.
Princess Salma is currently studying at International Academy Amman. She doesn't have any official duties but sometimes accompanies her parents to their events.
