Count Claus-Casimir is the second child and only son of Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of The Netherlands. He is also the only grandson of Princess Beatrix, former queen of The Netherlands and the nephew of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, the current monarchs. His full name is Claus-Casimir Bernhard Marius Max.
Claus-Casimir was born on March 21st 2004 in The Hague. He was born at interesting time for the Dutch Royal family. A year prior to his birth his uncle Prince Friso had abdicated. The day before he was born his great grandmother, Queen Juliana passed away. At the time of his birth he was 5th in line to the throne.
The Count was christened on October 10th 2004. One of his godfathers is his paternal uncle, King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands. Claus-Casimir lives in The Hague with his parents, and his two sisters, Countess Eloise (2002) and Countess Leonore (2006). Count Claus-Casimir is currently 6th in line to the throne. He does not currently undertake any royal duties as he is still a child. He can be seen at photo shoots and when accompanying his parents to various events.
