Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, Princess of Denmark


Marie-Chantal Miller was born in London, England on 17th September 1968. She is the daughter of billionaire Robert Warren Miller, owner and founder of Duty Free Shops and Marie-Chantal Pesantes from Ecuador. Marie-Chantal grew up with two sisters Pia (1966) and Alexandra (1972).

Marie-Chantal's parents left London when she was still young and moved to Hong Kong where she lived until the age of 9 and attended 'The Peak School.' From the age of 9 Miller was sent to 'Institut Le Rosey' Boarding School in Switzerland (one of the most expensive and exclusive schools in the world). In Year 9 Marie-Chantal moved to Ecole Active Bilingue, a boarding school in Paris. Miller stayed in Paris for 3 years but transferred to 'The Masters School' in New York for her final year of high school.

In 1993 Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece proposed to Marie-Chantal whilst on a ski trip. Two years later on 1st July 1995 the couple married. They have lived in London and New York, but currently reside in Los Angeles. They have five children together;

1). Princes Maria-Olympia of Greece & Denmark (25th July 1996)

2). Prince Constantine-Alexios of Greece & Denmark (29th October 1998)

3). Prince Achileas-Andreas of Greece & Denmark (12th August 2000)

4). Prince Odysseus-Kimon of Greece & Denmark (17th September 2004)

5). Prince Aristidis-Stavros of Greece & Denmark (29th June 2008)

Crown Princess Marie-Chantal works as a designer of childrenswear and is on the board of her father's company DFS.
