Louis Ducruet was born in Monaco on 26th November 1992. He is the eldest child and only son of Princess Stephanie of Monaco and her first husband, Daniel Ducruet. When he was born Louis was not in line for the throne as his parents were not married. His parents in 1995 and he became 7th in line to the throne of Monaco. He is currently 11th in line. Louis grew up with younger sister Pauline (1994) and his half-sister by Princess Stephanie, Camille Gottlieb (1998). He also has a half-brother, Michael from a previous relationship of his father's. Louis is the nephew of Prince Albert II, current ruler of Monaco.
Louis began his schooling in France rather than Monaco. He attended An Ecole Primair before switching to Lycee Francais de Zurich, a school in Switzerland. Louis then completed his schooling in Monaco at College Charles III and then graduated from Lycee Albert Ier in 2010. Louis returned to France to complete Business School. Louis currently studies Sports Management at Western Carolina University in North Carolina, USA.
Louis enjoys soccer and supports his national team. Louis can be found at events alongside his mother. On 12th February 2018 Louis and his girlfriend Marie Hoa Chevallier got engaged in Vietnam.
