Prince Felix of Luxembourg
Prince Felix was born on June 3rd 1984 in Luxembourg. He is the second child and son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg. His full name is Felix Leopold Marie Guillaume. Felix grew up with his four siblings, Prince Guillaume, Prince Louis, Princess Alexandra and Prince Sebastien. Prince Felix is currently second in line to the throne. At the time of his birth Felix was 3rd as his grandfather Grand Duke Jean was still the reigning monarch. He has been 2nd in line since he was 16 years old.
The prince attended school in Luxembourg until age 14, he then went to boarding school in Switzerland where he stayed until completing school. Like many royals Prince Felix spent time at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. Felix left early due to a knee injury and then went on to study political science and psychology in Britain and Belgium.
Prince Felix is a royal patron of the Sports Association. Prince Felix also took on the role of honorary president of the 'Federation of Luxembourg Basketball.' Aside from his royal duties he also works in Marketing and Public Relations, and works as an independent consultant. The prince also has an interest in bioethics, tennis, soccer, volleyball, athletics, golf, basketball and various snow sports.
On 17th and 21st September 2013 Felix married Claire Lademacher. They have two children daughter, Princess Amalia (15th June 2014) and a son Prince Liam (28th November 2016) The couple currently live in the south of France in a vineyard owned by Princess Claire's family.
