Prince Hashim of Jordan is the second child and youngest son of King Hussein and his fourth wife, Queen Noor. Prince Hashim was born on June 10th 1981. He has an older brother, Prince Hamzah and two younger sisters, Princess Iman and Princess Raiyeh. Hashim also has 7 half siblings from his father's previous three marriages (4 half sisters, 3 half brothers). Hashim is currently 8th in line to the Jordanian throne.
Prince Hashim began schooling at the Amman Baccalaureate School. He then went to boarding school in the United States and attended 'St Mark's and Fay School' but graduated from 'Maret School' in Washington, D.C. After graduation Hashim went to the United Kingdom to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where he was awarded the prize for the highest marks. The Prince returned to the Untied States for University and spent time at Duke University in North Carolina as well as Georgetown University in D.C. From Georgetown Prince Hashim received his undergraduate degree in Comparative Studies.
Prince Hashim returned to Jordan and did Koran Studies at Balqa Applied University. On his return he also joined the Jordanian Army and served with the 3rd Royal Ranger Battalion.
On April 15th 2006 Hashim married Princess Fahdah. They have four children together;
1). Princess Halaah (6th April 2007)
2). Princess Rayet (4th July 2008)
3). Princess Fatima (5th November 2011)
4). Prince Hussein Haidara (15th June 2015) - 9th in line to the throne
