Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway


Princess Ingrid Alexandra was born on 21st January 2004 in Oslo. Her parents are Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway. She was born as 2nd in line to The Norwegian throne and retains that position, when her father becomes King she will become the Crown Princess and heiress apparent. She is a granddaughter of King Albert II and Queen Paola of Norway. Her godparents include her grandfather King Albert II, her aunt Princess Martha Louise of Norway,  Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Queen Letizia of Spain.

Ingrid Alexandra has an older half brother Marius on her mother's side and a younger brother Prince Sverre Magnus (2005). Ingrid Alexandra began her education at a public school in Oslo. She currently attends the Oslo International School so she can improve her English.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra was a flower girl at the 2010 wedding of her godmother Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. She has also participated in interviews with her father, she attends Norwegian cultural days, the annual ski jumping tournament and has participated in the christening of a ship. As she is still at school though her duties are limited.
