Princess Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda is the youngest child and daughter of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. She is the second granddaughter of Queen Margrethe II and her husband Prince Henrik. Josephine was born on 8th January 2011. The young Princess is fifth in line to the Danish throne. Two of Princess Josephine's godmothers are Patricia Bailey (maternal aunt) and Princess Marie of Denmark (her uncle Prince Joachim's wife). Princess Josephine has two older siblings, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella and a twin brother Prince Vincent.
Josephine is just a child so has no official duties. She has been to Greenland with her parents in 2014 and can be seen at some functions with her family. In 2015 Princess Josephine broke her arm during a horse riding accident.
