The 15th of September is a day of celebration for the Swedish Royal Family. Not only is it the birthday of Crown Princess Victoria's husband, Prince Daniel, it is also the anniversary of King Carl XVI Gustaf's ascension to the throne.
King Carl XVI Gustaf celebrates 43 years on the throne today (oddly enough his son-in-law was born on the exact same day, in the exact same year). We wish The King many more years of success, wise ruling, health and happiness. Congratulations!!!
