Happy Anniversary Prince Louis of Luxembourg & Princess Tessy!!!


On September 29th 2016 Prince Louis of Luxembourg married Tessy Antony. It was a bittersweet marriage for the Luxembourg Royal family, even though their son was marrying the love of his life, he ultimately chose to forfeit his place in the line of succession. 

 Today Prince Louis & Princess Tessy celebrate 10 years of marriage. They have two sons together; Gabriel and Noah. We wish them lots of happiness together and may there have many more things to celebrate!!!

Happy Birthday Juan Urdangarin!!!


Today Juan Urdnagarin celebrates his 17th Birthday!!! Juan is the oldest child of Infanta Cristina of Spain and her husband Inaki Urdangarin. Juan is a grandson of King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia and a nephew to current monarch, King Felipe VI and his wife Queen Letizia. Juan is 7th in line to the Spanish crown.

 We wish Juan a  very happy birthday and hope he has a wonderful year ahead!

Happy Birthday Emma Behn!!!


Happy 8th Birthday to Emma Behn of Norway!!! Emma is the youngest daughter of Princess Martha Louise of Norway and her ex-husband Ari Behn. She is also the youngest grandchild of King Harald V and Queen Sonja. Emma is 7th in line to the Norwegian throne. 

 We wish Emma many happy returns of the day and hope she has a lovely day celebrating with her family.

A tribute to Shimon Peres!!!

I'd like to do a special tribute post in honour of Shimon Peres, former Israeli Prime Minister and President. This amazing statesman who advocated for peace passed away this morning after a stroke two weeks ago. 

 Shimon had a special relationship with many royals during his tenure as Prime Minister, and as President of Israel. This is evidenced by the attendance at his funeral this coming Friday where we will see Prince Charles of Wales and Princess Beatrix of The Netherlands. Now I would like to share with you some memories of Shimon and Royals around the world;

Happy 7th Wedding anniversary to Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain and his wife Shaikha. The couple married on this day in 2009 and joined the Bahraini royal family to Dubai's as Shaikha is the daughter of the Emir of Dubai. The couple have three children together; a daughter Sheema and twin boys Hamad and Mohammad.

Happy Anniversary Princess Astrid & Prince Lorenz!!!


Happy 32nd wedding anniversary to Princess Astrid of Belgium, Archduchess of Austria-Este and her husband Prince Lorenz, Archduke of Austria-Este!!! The Archduke of Austria-Este married the daughter of King Albert II of Belgium on 22nd September 1984. 

 The couple have five children together, 2 boys and 3 girls; Prince Amedeo, Princess Maria Laura, Prince Joachim, Princess Luisa Maria and Princess Laetitia Maria. Astrid and Lorenz recently became grandparents when their elder son and his wife Elisabetta gave birth to a daughter, Archduchess Anna. 

 We wish Astrid and Lorenz many more years of happiness and health together and that they have every success from their growing family.

Happy 9th Birthday to Prince Noah of Nassau!!!. Prince Noah is the younger son of Prince Louis of Luxembourg and Princess Tessy. He is also a grandson of the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. Noah is not in line to the throne as his father gave up his place in succession. Noah celebrated his birthday on the 21st of September. 

 We wish Noah lots of happiness on his special day and hope he has a lot of fun!!!

Happy Anniversary King Constantine II & Queen Anne-Marie


Today, 18th September marks a very special anniversary. Two major royals got married and joined their families together. King Constantine II who had begun his reign just six months prior, married Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark, the youngest daughter and 3rd in line to the Danish throne. Anne-Marie was also a granddaughter of King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden. 

 King Constantine II and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece are celebrating their 52nd anniversary today. They have four children and 9 grandchildren. We wish them and their family lots of happiness and hope they have a beautiful day celebrating.

Happy Birthday Prince Odysseas-Kimon of Greece!!!


Happy 12th Birthday to Prince Odysseas-Kimon of Greece!!! Odysseas is the fourth child of Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece (he shares his birthday with his mother). He is also the grandson of King Constantie II and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece. The Prince also happens to be closely related to the Danish, Spanish and British royal families. Prince Odysseas is 4th in line to the defunct Greek throne. 

 Lots of happy birthday wishes to Prince Odysseas-Kimon, enjoy your last year before becoming a teenager!!!
