Tonga is a kingdom in Polynesia. It consists of 177 islands and is the only monarchy in the Southern Hemisphere. Tonga does not get as much attention as other monarchies. It is unusual for Tongan royals to mix with other royal families or to be seen in crowns and attending balls. Tongan women can inherit the throne, but it is male preference.
There are a total of 15 people in the line of succession to the Tongan throne. I have listed here the King's immediate family (children, grandchildren & siblings):
