Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. Marie has chosen a simple off the shoulder red dress. She looks effortlessly pretty. Marie is wearing a brand new tiara! It was created especially for this occasion by both Danish artists and French Jewelers. This is a symbol of Princess Marie's connection to both countries as she is French, but now a Danish princess. The new tiara is absoloutely beautiful, I love the sapphires. It's so much nicer than the other tiaras owned by Princess Marie. It's nice that she has something really beautiful to wear. I hope we see it more often.

Wedding of Princess Eugenie of York to Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie is the first Princess in England to get married since Princess Anne's second marriage way back in 1992. This was a small affair, so really you could say Eugenie is the first British Princess to marry since 1973 (Princess Anne's first wedding).

The younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York wed her long time boyfriend Jack Brooksbank at St George's Chapel merely hours ago. Let's take a look at some of the pictures of the guests and of the stunning bride and groom.

The Royal Guest List

The very proud grandparents of the bride, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

Embed from Getty Images

Prince Charles of Wales, Eugenie's uncle arrives at St George's Chapel. Unfortunately Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall had a prior engagement so was unable to attend.

Embed from Getty Images

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. Kate choice of dress is subdued as is her hat. The colour is gorgeous. She made the right choice in order not to take any attention away from the bride.

Embed from Getty Images

Probably reliving memories of their special day just a few months ago. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

Embed from Getty Images

Princess Anne, Princess Royal the aunt of Princess Eugenie and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence arriving at the chapel. Princess Anne looks stunning, and just so classy in this metallic green outfit.

Embed from Getty Images

Peter Phillips, son of Princess Anne and eldest cousin of Princess Eugenie along with his wife Autumn Phillips. I usually love Autumn's fashion, this is not a favourite though. Not sure what she was thinking.

Embed from Getty Images

Zara Tindall, Princess Anne's daughter and cousin to Princess Eugenie, with her husband Mike Tindall.

Embed from Getty Images

Princess Eugenie's uncle, Prince Edward Earl of Wessex, wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex and their son James, Viscount Severn. I like the style of Sophie's dress but not a fan of black. It's a wedding not a funeral.

Embed from Getty Images

Prince Edward Duke of Kent, and Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester arrive at St George's Chapel. The Duke of Kent is a first cousin to Queen Elizabeth and Birgitte is married to another first cousin of The Queen.

Embed from Getty Images

Prince Michael of Kent and his wife Marie, Princess Michael of Kent inside St George's Chapel. Prince Michael of Kent is also a first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II and is a brother to the Duke of Kent.

Embed from Getty Images

Lord Frederick Windsor and his wife Sophie, Lady Frederick Windsor. Lord Frederick is the son of Prince Michael of Kent. He is a first cousin, once removed to Queen Elizabeth II. They are very close with Princess Eugenie.

Embed from Getty Images

Distant relations, Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece with his wife Crown Princess Marie-Chantal and their daughter Princess Maria-Olympia.

Zenouska Mowatt, Granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy who is a first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II.

Other Guests

Chelsy Davy, the ex-girlfriend of Prince Harry and Lady Melissa Percy were invited.

Embed from Getty Images

British singer Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field. Robbie's daughter Theodora was a flower girl.

Embed from Getty Images

British model Cara Delevigne. Her choice of outfit is extremely strange.

Embed from Getty Images

Anther British supermodel, Naomi Campbell attended the wedding.

Singer Ricky Martin and his partner Jwan Yosef.

A very pregnant Pippa Middleton with her husband James Matthews and brother James Middleton.

Actress Liv Tyler with her husband, Dave Gardner and British super model Kate Moss and Kate's daughter Lila Grace Moss-Hack

Actress Demi Moore

Model Pixie Geldof and daughter of singer Bob Geldof.

The Wedding Party

Embed from Getty Images

We all expected Princess Beatrice of York, Eugenie's elder sister to act as maid of honour or as a brides maid. Sadly this didn't happen. Princess Beatrice arrived with her mother Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York. The blue dress is beautiful and really suits her. I love that she chose to go without a full hat. This style suits her. Fergie's dress is gorgeous and matches well with her red colouring. The bow is a bit big on the hat and looks like she has ears.

Embed from Getty Images

Showing how much she has grown up since Prince William's wedding, Lady Louise Windsor the daughter of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and cousin to Princess Eugenie was in charge of the children. Louise looked stunning in blue and totally grown up. She did a fantastic job.

Embed from Getty Images

Prince Andrew, Duke of York arrives with the beautiful bride, his daughter, Princess Eugenie. We'll go into more detail about her dress and tiara later on.

Embed from Getty Images

The cuteness factor of Princess Eugenie's flower girls and page boys is off the charts. Starting with the back row on the left her attends are; Savannah Phillips (eldest great grandchild of The Queen, granddaughter of Princess Anne and elder daughter of Peter Phillips), Prince George of Cambridge, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, Maud Windsor (elder daughter of Lord Frederick & Lady Sophie Windsor), Isla Phillips (younger daughter of Peter Phillips), Mia Tindall (Granddaughter of Princess Anne and elder daughter of Zara Tindall), Theodora Williams (daughter of singer Robbie Williams) and Louis de Givenchy.

It's so sweet that Eugenie included everyone. The girls look so sweet and the boys are handsome. I love seeing Savannah Phillips and Prince George together, they're obviously extremely close and it shows.

The Bride!

You'll see Eugenie's dress is quite a thick material which is fantastic as it was a really windy day. She chose to not have a veil, but as you will notice from the behind picture when they're walking into the chapel, the train of the dress is quite long. It's slightly off the shoulder, with the shoulders folded over to give it a V shape. I think that really makes the dress. It's hard to tell, but when looked at closely the top of the dress has York Roses embroidered on to it. I'll try to find a close up so you'll be able to see it.

For her tiara Princess Eugenie wore the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara. This tiara was made in 1919, so almost 100 years old. It was first owned by Eugenie's great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. It is now owned by Queen Elizabeth II who leaned it to her granddaughter for her wedding. It's a beautiful tiara which brings out Eugenie's eyes and compliments her hair colour.

I'll leave you with some last images of the day;

It's been a while

It's been a while royal fans. With work, getting engaged and planning my wedding I've neglected my blog. However tonight is a special event, the wedding of Princess Eugenie of York, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and granddaughter to Queen Elizabeth II.

I could not miss this event, this is the first British Princess (by blood) to get married since the Queen's own daughter, Princess Anne, Princess Royal. It's all very exciting and I can't wait to share it with you. In the mean time I will be looking at the highlights from the last four months in not just the British Royal family, but all the other royal families.

I look forward to sharing this very special wedding with you all.

Liat xoxo

Trooping of The Colour 2018

Yesterday saw Britain's annual Trooping of the Colour. The day celebrates The Queen's Birthday though it's not her actual birthday. The entire royal family gathers together on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Here's the day in pictures.

Embed from Getty Images

The guest of honour, Queen Elizabeth II was of course there.

Embed from Getty Images

Prince Charles of Wales and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall were present with their branch of the family; Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge with their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Unfortunately Prince Louis, the newest addition is a bit young to join. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and the new Duchess of Sussex, Meghan was also on the balcony.

Embed from Getty Images

Prince Andrew, Duke of York was present along with his girls Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie of York. Queen Elizabeth's youngest son Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex wasn't there neither was his young son James, Viscount Severn. He was well represented though via his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex and their daughter Lady Louise Windsor who is looking more and more grown up every time we see her.

Embed from Getty Images

Princess Anne, The Princess Royal and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence were there with Anne's son and daughter-in-law Peter and Autumn Phillips. Princess Anne's granddaughters Savannah and Isla Phillips joined them and stole the show. They are adorable! Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall was not present as she is due to give birth next month.

Extended family such as Zenouska Mowatt, the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra were also invited

Tiara Time 23rd May 2018!!!

Two weeks ago we had a whole host of tiaras on display. On the 23rd of May the Royal family of Luxembourg hosted King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands. They marked the occasion with a gala banquet and tiaras were worn.

Embed from Getty Images

Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie in all their finery.

Embed from Getty Images

The evening's hostess, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore the Belgian Scroll Tiara. Very pretty and simple. It worked with her dress and was a nice choice for a state visit.

Embed from Getty Images

The guest, Queen Maxima surprised everyone by wearing the Stuart Tiara for the first time. Though not the eldest in The Dutch tiara collection, it's considered a big one. It's a huge compliment to the Luxembourg Royal family. Though Maxima did play it down by not adding the diamond. You cold also say it was too extravagant, possibly trying to outshine Maria Teresa. That's Maxima though!

Embed from Getty Images

The young Hereditary Grand Duchess wore the Chaumet Diamond Pearl Tiara. This was Stephanie's first time wearing it. A very special occasion for her, and a great honour as previously it has only ever been worn by her mother-in-law, The Grand Duchess. Stephanie kept the tiara low key, by removing the larger pearls.

Stay tuned for a look at the tiaras worn at Crown Prince Frederik's 50th gala dinner.
