Happy Birthday Princess Elisabeth!!!

A very happy birthday goes out to Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, Duchess of Brabant. The heiress apparent to The Belgian throne celebrated her 15th Birthday on October 25th.

Elisabeth is the oldest of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde's four children. She is also a grandchild of King Albert II and Queen Paola. We hope Elisabeth's birthday was everything she wished for and that she continues to grow into a strong woman who will one day be Queen of The Belgians.

You can read more about Princess Elisabeth by clicking on her name.

Summer Holidays Part 1

The Summer holidays are in and the Royals like to holiday just as much as the rest of us, sometimes more. So let's kick it off;

On Friday King Philippe of Belgium and his daughter Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant were in Lille, France to watch the Euro 2016 Quarter finals between Belgium & Wales. I'm sure the Belgian royal family will holiday somewhere else as well, but a father-daughter trip to France is a nice way to start off the school holidays.

Fashion Fridays

Every Friday will be Fashion Friday. We will look at the fashion of the Royal families throughout the week. Sometimes there will be heaps, other times it might be a slow week.

This week we saw the Belgian Queen Mathilde and Princesses Astrid and Claire step out for Belgian's national day.

To mass Mathilde wore this white dress. I love the sleeves and the hat. I think it's a little short for church though.

The Queen also attended a fete where she wore this dress. I like the style, very appropriate. Not to crazy about all the squares, I think it's too much going on.

Princess Claire wore this number. It's cute but the two shades of green don't really match.

My personal favourite is Princess Astrid, Archduchess of Austria-Este. She wore her military uniform and looked fantastic. Nothing beats a woman carrying around a sword!

We then saw Queen Letizia of Spain in Milan, Italy. I have to say she looked fantastic. Her dress was perfect for a hot Spanish summer. It was also tasteful and had a bit of elegance about it.

Lastly I can't ignore the children's fashion. Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant and her little sister Princess Eleonore of Belgium looked so sweet at the Belgian National Day celebrations.
