Two weeks ago we had a whole host of tiaras on display. On the 23rd of May the Royal family of Luxembourg hosted King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands. They marked the occasion with a gala banquet and tiaras were worn.

The evening's hostess, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore the Belgian Scroll Tiara. Very pretty and simple. It worked with her dress and was a nice choice for a state visit.

The guest, Queen Maxima surprised everyone by wearing the Stuart Tiara for the first time. Though not the eldest in The Dutch tiara collection, it's considered a big one. It's a huge compliment to the Luxembourg Royal family. Though Maxima did play it down by not adding the diamond. You cold also say it was too extravagant, possibly trying to outshine Maria Teresa. That's Maxima though!

The young Hereditary Grand Duchess wore the Chaumet Diamond Pearl Tiara. This was Stephanie's first time wearing it. A very special occasion for her, and a great honour as previously it has only ever been worn by her mother-in-law, The Grand Duchess. Stephanie kept the tiara low key, by removing the larger pearls.
Stay tuned for a look at the tiaras worn at Crown Prince Frederik's 50th gala dinner.
