Today, 18th September marks a very special anniversary. Two major royals got married and joined their families together. King Constantine II who had begun his reign just six months prior, married Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark, the youngest daughter and 3rd in line to the Danish throne. Anne-Marie was also a granddaughter of King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden.
King Constantine II and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece are celebrating their 52nd anniversary today. They have four children and 9 grandchildren. We wish them and their family lots of happiness and hope they have a beautiful day celebrating.
