We got to see three of the Dutch tiaras on display this week. The Dutch Royal family hosted a gala dinner for their diplomatic corps. Queen Maxima, former queen, Princess Beatrix and Princess Margriet stepped out in glitz, glamour and of course tiaras.

Queen Maxima opted for the Aquamarine Tiara. It's cute and light hearted and matches the concept she's going for. I do feel that given the importance of Beatrix's tiara which we will look at in a second Maxima could have chosen something with a little more status.

The former queen wore the Queen Emma Diamond tiara. This is a very special tiara and is the third eldest in the Norwegian collection. It looks beautiful and a perfect choice for a lady whom the Norwegian's hold in such high regard.

Princess Margriet wore the Pearl Button Tiara. A lovely piece that goes with almost every outfit. The tiara has special significance for Margriet as she wore it at her own wedding back in 1967. She still borrows it regularly.
