Wedding Wednesday (Wills & Kate Part 2)
As promised here is the 2nd part of the Wedding series for Prince William of Wales, Duke of Cambridge & Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (better known as Wills & Kate). On Friday they will celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary. Let's celebrate with them
The Bride: Catherine Elizabeth Middleton. Kate's dress was a sensation. It looked fantastic on her, but it was also simple and beautiful. It wasn't lavish, it's a dress every bride could wear. She also didn't have a large bouquet, which meant we could actually see what she wore.
A close up of Kate's tiara. She wore the 1936 Cartier Halo Tiara. It's currently owned by Queen Elizabeth II and was lent to Kate for her wedding day. The piece was originally owned by Queen Elizabeth's mother, Elizabeth The Queen Mother.

Tiara Time!!!
It's time for...Tiara Time!!! Two weeks ago on the 13th of April the President of Mexico visited Denmark. In his honour Queen Margrethe II held a state banquet. We got to see the Queen along with both Crown Princess Mary and Princess Marie wearing tiaras. It was very exciting!!!
Here we have Queen Margrethe II. She is wearing her favourite tiara, The Baden Palmette Tiara. It's really a very pretty tiara with it's love heart design. It's also one of the oldest in the Danish collection. Queen Margrethe wore the tiara just last month at the Arts & Culture ball.
For those of you with a keen eye, Queen Margrethe II had doubled up with her tiaras for this occasion. Around her neck is another one of Denmark's most prized tiaras, the Princess Thyra Sapphire Tiara. This tiara is actually currently owned by Margrethe's cousin Princess Elisabeth but she has obviously lent it to the monarch for this occasion.
Here's Crown Princess Mary & Crown Prince Frederik. Mary is wearing, for the 2nd time the Princess Mary Diamond Tiara. She debuted it just last month at the Arts & Culture ball.
and Princess Marie with Prince Joachim. Not quite sure whether Marie and Mary co-ordinated their outfits or not, but they're both wearing red! Princess Marie is wearing her favourite tiara, The Diamond Floral Tiara. Marie has worn this tiara three times this year alone. The first was at Queen Margrethe's annual New Year ball and the second was at the Arts & Culture Ball last month. Marie does have another tiara, The Floral Danica Tiara but she rarely wears it.
