Prince George of Cambridge is the eldest child and son of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and his wife Catherine (Middleton), Duchess of Cambridge. George was born in London on July 22nd 2013, with his full name being George Alexander Louis. Prince George was born, and is currently 3rd in line to the throne of the United Kingdom. George is of course the grandson of the heir to the throne, Prince Charles of Wales and his late wife, Diana, Princess of Wales. He is a great grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Prince George was baptised on October 23rd 2013. One of his godmothers is Zara Tindall, his father's cousin, daughter of Princess Anne, the Princess Royal and eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II. George has two younger siblings Princess Charlotte (2015) and Prince Louis (2018).
The young prince is kept out of the public eye as much as possible. His first official engagement was a trip to Australia and New Zealand with his parents in April 2014. In 2016 Prince George met US President Barack Obama, The President gifted George with a rocking horse. Later that same year Prince George, along with his sister Princess Charlotte accompanied their parents on a visit to Canada. In July 2017 the siblings again joined their parents on a diplomatic visit to Poland and Germany.
Prince George has also been a pageboy at the weddings of his aunt Pippa Middleton in 2017, his uncle Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex in 2018 and later that same year for Princess Eugenie of York, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and the cousin of George's father, Prince William.
Prince George's main role at the moment is to attend school. In January 2016 at the age of 2.5 George began attending Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk. On September 7th 2017 at the age of 4, Prince George began primary school at Thomas's School in Battersea, London.
