Princess Charlotte of Wales


Princess Charlotte is the middle child and only daughter of Prince William of Wales and his wife Catherine (Middleton), Princess of Wales. She is a granddaughter of King Charles III and his late wife Diana, Princess of Wales. Charlotte is also a great granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Princess Charlotte was born in London on May 2nd 2015. Her full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. The young princess was baptised on July 5th 2015, among her godparents is The Honourable Laura Pettman (nee Fellowes), the niece of Diana, Princess of Wales and cousin to Prince William. Charlotte has an older brother, Prince George (2013) and a younger brother, Prince Louis (2018).

Charlotte is too young to undertake her own royal duties but has accompanied her parents on royal tours of Canada, Poland and Germany. In 2017 Charlotte was a flower girl for her aunt Pippa Middleton. In 2018 she was a flower girl for her uncle Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and later that year for Princess Eugenie of York, younger daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and a cousin to her father Prince William.

In January 2018 at the age of a little over two and a half Princess Charlotte began attending nursery school at Willcocks Nursery School in London. Charlotte later joined her older brother at St Thomas' Battersea School. In September 2022 her family moved to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor and she began attending Lambrook School.
