Fashion Fridays 8th January-15th January 2016
Thanks to Queen Rania's European tour we saw some pretty great fashion this week. There were others on show as well, but the Jordanian Queen was the real star of the show
Queen Rania started off in England wearing this beautiful outfit. I think this look is perfect. The jacket is so versatile with the side slits, it can look different with a number of dresses. Black and Hot Pink look great together and the colour looks fantastic on Rania. The shows are perfect for a meeting with the British Prime Minister
On the 12th of January Queen Rania changed her outfit twice, and then for her third meeting just added a little something. This purple number is what she wore for a meeting with the Belgian Prime Minister. The purple dress is so classy and is really beautiful. I love the different shades. The little black jacket is a perfect addition. Being economical she is wearing the same shoes she wore just 4 days prior to her meeting with the British Prime Minister.
The Queen wore this to a meeting with the President of the European Commission. Firstly, I just love those shoes! Queen Rania looks elegant and business like. Nothing wrong with this outfit.
In a meeting with Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Rania kept the second outfit but added this beautiful jacket. The style is nice, but I don't think the pink stripe at the bottom works.
Whilst we're on this event, let's take a look at Queen Mathilde's outfit. I like her top but i don't think it matches the skirt. I think Mathilde looks a bit granny hear, and she's not, she's actually quite young.
On the same day Queen Mathilde also wore this. I prefer this so much more! Mathilde looks amazing in red and the dress is really cute. Her shoes are pretty terrific too.
January 8th saw Queen Letizia of Spain wear this. I would like it if she didn't have that jacket. It ruins the whole outfit especially the arm slits.
Luckily on the 12th the Spanish Queen redeemed herself in a pale pink coat and Maroon skirt and vest with a plain white jacket. This was accompanied by nude shoes (must be co-ordinating with Queen Rania) and a maroon clutch. She looks stunning and all ready for business.
For the 100th anniversary of the withdrawal from Gallipoli Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore this lovely outfit. Perfectly appropriate for a very somber occasion. Her hair looks terrific and I'm in love with those boots!!!
Though she's not royal exactly I thought I'd include her for good measure. Pippa Middleton accompanied her big sister Kate to the church service on 10th January. Pippa matched her sister wearing black boots. Her hat is just too adorable, very suitable for the winter month of January.
Queen Elizabeth II wore this cute ensemble to the ceremony. As per usual the Queen looks classy and she's wearing such a pretty colour. Very nice.
Finally we have The Belgians. Princess Beatrix, former Queen Beatrix wore this to a New Years reception. The colour of her top is brilliant. The shawl is a lovely touch.
We end with Queen Maxima. This outfit shouldn't work, but it does. The Queen of Belgium pulls off wearing Orange and looks amazing. The belt in the middle really makes the outfit. The brown jacket matches nicely.
So many outfits to choose from this week!!! It's a hard choice but my favourite fashion of the week is...Queen Rania's Purple outfit!!!
I can't say enough good things about this outfit. It's my favourite for this week. Congrats Queen Rania!!!
