Princess Mako of Akishino celebrated her 25th Birthday on October 23rd. The Princess is the elder daughter of Fumihito, Prince Akishino and his wife Princess Kiko. Mako is also the eldest grandchild of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.
Princess Mako is not in line for succession to The Chrysanthemum throne as only males can inherit. We wish The Mako a very happy 25th Birthday!!!
A slightly sombre post, On 22nd October 2016 Takahito, Prince Mikasa and his wife Yuriko celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary!!! They celebrated together in the Prince's hospital room. Sadly Prince Mikasa passed way from heart failure just five days later.
Prince and Princess Mikasa had a long, successful marriage. They came through a lot together, including seeing their three sons pass away before them.
During their life together Takahito and Yuriko had five children, 3 boys and 2 girls (Yasuko, Tomohito, Yoshihito, Masako and Takamado). The couple also have 9 grandchildren.
The 21st of October saw Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain celebrating his 46th Birthday. Salman is the eldest son of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and his senior wife Sabika.
The Crown Prince is married to Sheikha Hala and they have four children together. We wish Crown Prince Salman a very happy birthday and hope he had a wonderful day!

Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and his wife Stephanie celebrated 4 years of marriage on October 20th. We wish the young couple every success in life and hope they continue to share many special moments together. Happy Anniversary!!!
The 20th of October was the birthday of Empress Michiko of Japan. The Empress celebrated her 82nd Birthday. Michiko is married to Emperor Akihito of Japan. I hope The Empress has a beautiful full of celebrations with her family.

Last month on October 19th Prince Laurent of Belgium celebrated his 53rd Birthday. Prince Laurent is the younger son of King Albert II & Queen Paola of Belgium. His brother, King Philippe is the current King. Prince Laurent is currently 12th in line to the Belgian throne.

Marie-Caroline is the second child, and only daughter of Hereditary Prince Alois and his wife Sophie. Unfortunately The Princess is not in line for the throne as only males can inherit in Liechtenstein.
