A Royal Christmas 2015

I haven't been posting over the last few weeks, my apologies. Sometimes life just gets busy. I'm back and it's a New Year!!! I wanted to take a look at how Christmas went for the royals. It's an important time of year, when even extended family is on show. So let's take a look.

The United Kingdom 


A few days before Christmas on 16th December Queen Elizabeth II hosted a Christmas Lunch at Buckingham Palace. Here's some of the guest list; 


Queen Elizabeth's Granddaughter (Princess Anne's daughter) Zara Phillips, along with her husband Mike Tindall and in the back you can see their beautiful daughter (Queen Elizabeth's Great Granddaughter) Mia Tindall.

Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy (A first cousin of Queen Elizabeth)

Princess Anne, The Princess Royal and her husband Sir Timothy Lawrence


Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester (1st Cousin of Queen Elizabeth) and his wife Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester.


Prince Edward, Duke of Kent (1st Cousin of Queen Elizabeth) and his wife Katharine, Duchess of Kent.


Lady Helen Taylor (Duke of Kent's daughter) with her husband Timothy and daughters Eloise and Estella Taylor.


Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The little head next to Kate is of course Prince George of Cambridge.


Autumn Phillips (daughter-in-law of Princess Anne, The Princess Royal)


Princess Eugenie of York (Prince Andrew, Duke of York's daughter)



Lady Gabriella Windsor (daughter of Prince Michael of Kent) and  Sophie, Lady Frederick Windsor (daughter-in-law of Prince Michael of Kent). The baby girl is Frederick and Sophie's little girl, Maud Windsor.

That's the Pre-Christmas event. On Christmas day the royals of The United Kingdom step out for a family walk to Church in Sandringham.

Belgium 


In Belgium the royals held their annual Christmas concert on December 16th. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde posed for a Christmas photo with their four children.



Monaco 


On December 16th Prince Albert II of Monaco along with his wife Princess Charlene, nephew Louis Ducruet and niece Camille Gottlieb handed out Christmas gifts at the Prince's Palace of Monaco


Norway 


In Norway King Harald V, Queen Sonja and the family of Crown Prince Haakon (Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Haakon's stepson Marius, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus) pose for a Christmas photo shoot


Sweden


Prince Carl Philip and his wife Princess Sofia of Sweden attended a Christmas concert on December 21st;
